Kufuatia maboresho ya mitaala ya Elimu iliyofanywa na serikali. Kwa kurejelea waraka wa Elimu namba 5 wa mwaka 2023 kuhusu utekelezaji wa mitaala iliyoboreshwa. Hagafilo Sekondari ni shule pekee iliyoteuliwa na serikali katika Mkoa wa NJOMBE miongoni mwa Shule chache nchini Tanzania kufundisha ufundi wa umeme wa viwandani na nyumbani.
Mkuu wa Shule ya Sekondari Hagafilo anawakaribisha Wazazi,Walezi na Wanafunzi kutumia fulsa hii muhimu na adhimu sana kwa vijana wa kike na kiume kusomea utaalamu wa umeme kuanzia kidato cha kwanza 2024.
Shule ya Sekondari Hagafilo ni Shule ya bweni kwa wasichana na wavulana, yenye walimu wa kutosha, wenye elimu na taaluma bora,weledi na ari ya kumsaidia mwanafunzi,pia ni shule yenye mazingira bora na tulivu kwa kusoma na kujifunza.
Fomu za kujiunga zinapatikana shuleni Hagafilo au bofya .

Department of Records Archives and Information Management
The department was designed to produce competent personnel able to create and use records efficiently. The programme produces graduate who are registry, records and archive managers who will be acceptable by the community.
The department has two programmes
- Diploma in Records, Archives and Information Management
Entry qualification: The applicant shall be the holder of an advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or Equivalent: and he /she has obtained with at least one principal pass and subsidiary in relevant subjects in the ACSEE.
- Certificate in Records, Archives and Information Management
Entry qualification: A candidate shall be eligible for consideration for admission to certificate in Records, Archives and information Management programme if: He/she has obtained a certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) and has four passes in non-religious subjects.
Department of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
The department was launched in 2013 providing certificate and diploma in information and communication technology, the department was designed to create a pool of qualified computer technicians and supporting personnel in information and communication technology. But also the aim was to provide informatics technicians graduate at diploma level with adequate skills to man the informatics industry.
Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement to basic technician certificate programme shall be possession of at least four (4) ‘D’ including one of Basic mathematics and English language in Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)
Possession of National Vocational Award (NVA) Level II or Trade test Grade II in a ICT related field from a recognized institution plus possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or its equivalence.
